NEW MEMBER ORIENTATION
The following is a guideline to help new SEWSA members survive their first meeting, game and season!

MEMBERSHIP

Becoming a member of SEWSA is easy.  Paperwork can be filled out at any meeting.  Member dues can also be paid at any meeting prior to deadline date for late registration.  No games can be assigned to you until your dues are paid.

$65.00-  USA Dues

$35.00-  SEWSA Dues

Additional fees and testing may be required if you want to be registered as a WIAA umpire to work high school games or PGF games.

MEETINGS

Meetings are held as often as once a week (in the weeks prior to the start of the season) to a couple times a month.  Attendance will be monitored and membership can be affected without proper notice of missing them.
 

UNIFORMS

The following table is the SEWSA standard uniform for softball officials. There should be no exceptions to following the standard except possibly in extreme cold conditions. In that case do what you have to do in order to “survive” and call the game. Most items can be purchased from any of the vendors and/or your local sporting good store.
